I've been discussing the video or situations like it since I stepped in. The only deviation from that was when someone decided their use of cruise control supersedes common courtesy.

That was certainly not the only deviation, and I know this because the person you are referencing was replying to me. And I said exactly what I said above.

Then my statement was a fact. That situation does not mean you aren't an a-hole.

It was the only deviation I've made. If you see it differently, that's fine.

You asked if I denied being an a-hole, and I do not. That question had nothing to do with the scenario. And my opinion of myself is still just an opinion; it does not make it fact.

For example, you might look in the mirror after showering and think "man, I've got a big dick". But in reality, you probably have a tiny penis. See?

You've already discredited yourself by confusing me with another poster. You've deviated plenty. We've been discussing if I'm an a-hole for not getting over immediately, even if I'm still at a passing speed, for a few pages now. This actually is fact.

"Dude, I don't even know where I'm at" (when calling 911)

A big problem in today's "keep your head up your arse" society

Are you saying that your actions in this scenario would mean that you are not an a-hole?

That's measurable. I can line up my dick and prove to myself that it's not that big.

You can identify as anything you want these days. Why not an a-hole?

I'm not sure if that should be important to me or not.

You've been discussing that. I've mostly been along for the ride, with a few prods to keep you moving.

I have said multiple times I will get over when it is sensible. No, I do not think that makes me an a-hole. I bolded that for you so that we can be clear, as I continually have to repeat myself to you because of your lack of reading comprehension.

People that think you should have to get over immediately are the assholes. It's not your interstate, Argonaut.

Your prods have come across more as woeful ignorance, but I'm glad you were able to learn something today. I'll go clock out now.

One last thing:

quote:

He's an a-hole. That doesn't mean you aren't.

Read it until you get it. Then read it again. If you get stuck, I'll be back around later to help you out. There's no shame if you don't, only if you don't try.

should have left earlier

So it's okay for you to drive well over the limit but you feel so entitled to hog the passing lane that you wouldn't move over if someone was moving faster than you?

Slower traffic keep right. There's no qualifier on that. There's no asterisk. If some other jerk wants to drive faster than you, let him be the one that gets the ticket. Let him pass and be on your merry way.

If you want to cruise without having to be responsible for moving over, slow down and stay in the right lane.

if you're still passing people in the passing lane, then you're fine. It's not the fast lane. It's the passing lane. There is no asterisk for passing faster.

If you want to cruise without being responsible for causing bottlenecks, slow down and move into the right lane with the rest of us.

in my experience, you're usually dealing with an anomaly driver if they want to go significantly faster than people who are even in the passing lane, who are still passing people in the right lane.
