Works until the bookkeeping, or lack thereof, catches up with the organization.

I know people who worked for some NGOs in Baton Rouge dealing with federal contracts. Things were all well and good whenever the checks were cut by the government but shite would always hit the fan toward the end of the fiscal year as they mismanaged various costs and/or didn’t have proper documentation for how the money was spent.

And this was an NGO which was considered a leading example for the Obama administration as they dispatched Joe Biden down to do photo ops with them.

If this was the cream of the crop for these groups, I’d hate to see the shite that is left over.

Any updates on this? Homicide?
