I knew Buck Robley pretty. We frequented La Downs back in the day and became pretty good friends

He used live across the street from me when I was growing up. Grizzly Smith. Met a lot of the wrestlers when I was a kid. Jake The Snake was his son. Met him along with junk yard dog, iron sheik, hacksaw, Ricky steamboat. They'd set up the rink in the front yard and let all the neighbor hood kids play on it. Wrestling has never been my thing but those guys were unbelievably nice.
