Awesome doc. I have always been torn on this though. That chick is pretty mean/evil, no question. But to send her to prison because someone else killed themselves always seemed like a pretty slippery slope to me. She wasn't there with him physically guiding him back into the truck. She was texting with him. he ultimately chose his own actions.
Should she have been punished? Absolutely. She's evil, and the shite she pulled after he died (kinda trying to become a celebrity in some ways) is pure insanity. But personal accountability has to come into play at some point with the dude that chose to kill himself IMO.

Pics upon release?
Call me gay, queer, whatever. But the last thing I’d be interested in seeing are after-prison pics of that demonic bitch.

Do you think Manson should have been set free too?

Slightly different circumstances there, broski.

Who's going to be the first dude to date that bitch?
SHe is going to lay that "misunderstood" schtick on him.

I would say Mike Fiers, but she is way too old.

Crazy to spend two years in jail for basically talking. She is evil no doubt, but locking someone up for saying mean things is a slippery slope.

She’s an evil POS but how was what she did a crime?
Appears to be a crime considering she did time for her role in it.

I’m glad she went to prison. If I urged my girlfriend to have sex with me when, I’d be charged for rape. Right?
This is a highly immature take. Especially from some who can't even form a proper sentence.
Are you really comparing the urging of a girlfriend to have sex with you to rape? And then comparing that to someone being urged to kill themselves? I hope you mature enough one day to understand the difference.

no way was prison the right solution.
Feel horrible for the family of the boy, but damn, lets frick up another kid to show we're in charge
Or let's set a precedent that it's not okay to encourage fragile people to kill themselves? The punishment for her role in this was justifiable. It should never be okay to push people, especially young, to kill themselves. That's like pulling the strings from a distance.
To the people saying well she didn't actually do it, so she doesn't deserve punishment.
Charles Manson didn't personally pull the trigger for most of his victims. He influenced others to do so. What's to stop this girl from influencing others to kill themselves? She had a role in this and she was held accountable for it. Maybe she learned her lesson, maybe she didn't.
I believe people that are defending her would have a different feeling if it had been their family member.

Setting a precedent that it's not okay to encourage young people to kill themselves is a slippery slope? Yeah, that's not okay. Also, trying to compare this to any other type of crime is not the same as influencing others to kill.
You even agree she was evil and influencing him.

All the more reason she deserved to pay a price in this.
The guy did pay his price for his actions, however the girl was still responsible for a role in it. Not sure how this is hard to understand. Especially given the particular circumstances here.
People contribute to pulling strings from afar all the time and they are held accountable for their roles as well.
To me this is worse than someone simply ignoring another person's cries for help. This is someone directly influencing a person to kill. Even if it is killing themselves.
