I've purchased two different style of memory foam mattresses from Amazon. One is a little squishy and one is pretty firm. I like them both, but prefer the squishy one more so because it conforms to your body better.

After owning a memory foam mattress, I'll probably never go back to springs.

What brands/models were each?

I have to get a firm, doesn't have to be rock hard, but I don't really care for squishy firm. My back is as crooked as a politician so firm provides me the best support.

About a month ago, the wife and I spent a day shopping for a new mattress. Tried the Temperpedic but didn't care for the way it felt. Even tried the Sleep Number beds but weren't completely happy with them. Went to Mattress Firm and found a Simmons Beautyrest Black Hybrid and bought it. It's a spring mattress with a layer of memory foam on top. Best sleep I've had in years! Just enough foam to be comfortable and gives you the support of a box spring. Not cheap, but I've come to the conclusion that if I'm going to spend a third of my day on something, it's going to be comfortable and last. Why spend $30k-$40k or more on a vehicle you are in for only a few hours a day but pay $500 on something you are on all night?

Beyond that, get some 300-320 Bamboo Sheets and you'll be towtrucked brah. 300-320 in Bamboo is like 5,000,000 Threadcount Egyptian Alien Cotton or some sh!t.

Do you even Sheex brah??

I have a Simmons Comfortpedic, I love it.

I bought a Tuft & Needle memory foam mattress 6 months ago after reading about it on The Mattress Underground.
$600 for a queen, free shipping and no tax, and 100 day trial period. You can sleep on it for over 3 months and if you don't like it, the return is free. They even arrange for it to be donated somewhere and arrange pickup.
It's a very firm mattress, which is what we wanted. I don't like sinking into memory foam. There is almost no sink to this. Some people complain that it's too firm. I think it's perfect for me.
The Casper mattress brand is supposedly just like Tuft & Needle, just not quite as firm. We'd decided to go with a Casper if we didn't like Tuft & Needle, but we didn't need to.
There's basically no risk to try it out. Plus its an American made mattress with American materials, not Chinese.
