The National Veteran Cemetery on Florida Blvd is a must for us every Memorial Day.

Honestly, this is when things get slow in Baton Rouge. A lot of people leave town, when the Country Fest thing was brought to BR for however many years it was here for, part of the reason behind it was because this was one of the worst weekends for hotels, restaurants, etc.
Downtown has things going on and it would be a good day to go walk around there since the state agencies have off.
