Steve Levy with the original

He still gets shite for this from his colleagues and that is hilarious.

25 year career remember and brought it up

Explaing to Dan Patrick what happened...

quote:

After current and former Worldwide Leader employees roasted Levy while congratulating him, Levy appeared on the Dan Patrick Show and broke down the moment. Here’s what we learned:

1. It was typed in correctly into the teleprompter.

2. It turned out producer Mike McQuade said into Levy and Keith Olbermann’s ear to “kill” (meaning they would skip) the next story about a figure skater who died while all this was happening.

3. He had “50 voicemails … from prominent national broadcasters” about the gaffe.

4. He hears once a month from people who remind him of his mistake.

The best part is how he nearly keeps losing it the rest of the segment.

He was so close to 100% holding it together, did so for almost 10 seconds, and then I assume he heard Olbermann laughing and started to think about it. At that point it's impossible to pull it back togeher

Also, I forget the name of the guy on the left, but can't help thinking about how if he ran fast enough he could take off every time I see him.
