The people who threw this pool party were begging for urban teens to show up. That's what they get for having kids who idolize that culture.

Cops were out of control and escalated the situation unnecessarily. They have no tact and no ability to resist playing Judge Dredd. I mean, it was a fricking pool party that got crashed but he was acting like he captured Al Qaeda.

Did those boys at the end of the video sound "urban" to you? These weren't random outsiders. Many of those kids were invited by their white friends. They clearly knew each other.

With incidents like this. Police rarely catch the people who actually caused all of this nonsense.

I'm just going to c&p my posts from the PT thread Bc it's too much to write and duplicate.

That is an extremely limited outline of what actually happened. What below is what I've seen from tweets & posts and what I've heard from people in the neighborhood:

There is a local "DJ" from Plano West (with kids, looks like Anthony Michael Hall in 16 Candles) and a couple "Promoters". The DJ and Promoter plan events at community pools and blast out party info by Twitter. It is blasted as an open invitation with makes being charged $2/each and females being free. Attendees are told to BYOD and BYOW.

This blew up because this particular party was held in a private community pool on the last day of school. It is tradition here for residents to throw End of Year parties at their community pools for the kids who attend the local schools (elementary & middle schools are mostly "neighborhood schools" here.) HOAs require approval for parties at these facilities to prevent multiple parties, over-booking, life guards on duty if high attendance is planned, etc.

This particular party was obviously not approved by the HOA. Kids showed up and began cursing out the pool security guards and residents when they weren't let in. They then began jumping the fence to go in anyway. DJ Farmer Ted from Frisco West began to "spin" (yes, I have a tough time taking Farrmer Ted from Frisco West seriously) playing extremely explicit music despite the younger kids there with the resident parents at their HOA approved party.

The teens were completely out of control and refused to leave when the security guards told them to repeatedly. While finally walking out but not leaving the parking lot, a confrontation occurred between one of the "Promoters", a 19 year old female, and one of the mothers and it became physical. There is disagreement about who hit who 1st. The mother was hit several times while her children screamed from their parked car behind them.

Police arrived and teens fled. Most of them. The ones that didn't flee were told to sit while police tried to figure out what was going on. Some did, others ran. Cops chased some. It's was absolute chaos. The girl in that specific video was told 3 times to sit and wouldn't listen. The cop grabbed her by the hair and pulled her to the ground where he "kneeled" on her until he got more handcuffs. While kneeling there, 2 boys ran towards him from behind and he grabbed his gun as he spun around to see who was coming. He almost immediately holstered the weapon as other cops ran up behind the teens.

This has EXPLODED in the McKinney, Allen, Frisco & Little Elm communities. Tension is extremely high as these promoters have gotten very cocky with more parties (another last night) and bragging on Twitter (stupidest ones now deleted) and moms now conceal carrying at their community pools. This situation is very, very dangerous right now.

There are tons of screen captures of tweets and videos that have deleted or captured as evidence so I'm trying to track down what I can still find on the mommy boards (they locked our thread from yesterday and we lost access bc we had pics of all tweets and portions of all videos and it is now turned over to MPD.)



Tl;dr - situation is about to get crazy with the protests tomorrow and scared, pissed off residents.

Maybe some of the kids were acting shittily, but they clearly singled out the black kids, many of which probably had little to do with what you describe.

Well that was clearly not what she was told. If you can't get a verifiable detail correct how can we figure our what to believe in the rest of your sensationalistic post.

Immediately calling these kids "urban" & "thugs" is a knee jerk reaction. But par for the course for the OT. We will see what new information comes out.

Video of the "fight" was linked earlier (a page or two ago) and it was more just two girls pulling each others hair for a few seconds before things being broken up.
