Just like the girl was when she was walking away, before the cop turned the corner after her and brought her back

Are you talking about the one who was told to leave 3 times and kept coming back to tell the cop off? She had every opportunity to leave without consequence.

Wasn't she the one that also assaulted the mom?

No. The 19 year old promoter fought the mom.

No, she was the one who was assaulted by The mom. See how that works?

also, it is not against the law to be on a public street when you are not committing a crime. If it was against the law, why was she not given a citation or arrested?

That cop lost his mind.

"Get out of here! Wait, what did you say? Get on the ground!"

Was he going to charge her with sassmouth?

Trespassing isn't a crime?

She was on public grounds (the sidewalk).

You know how much paperwork would be involved with booking all of these kids? If my understanding of the love-hate spectrum of cops is correct it goes from Donuts to Paperwork.

Serious question:

At some point it is illegal to be on a sidewalk in a neighborhood that isnt yours. I mean noway I can go into CCL and sit on the sidewalk and claim I'm on public grounds right?

What crime did she commit? Not tresspassing. She was in a public street. And she certainly could have been invited by the party thrower.

Where was she before this? She was told to leave after staying within 10 ft of the pool and refused. So if I break into a private location and have the cops called, all I have to do is find a sidewalk? Didn't realize you receive a get out of jail free card if you can reach a sidewalk safely.

My issue was more with his "chuck norris" actions rather than the gun.

Yeah, unless talking back to a cop is illegal, cuffing a bikini-clad teenage girl will land you in hot water.

So can I hang out on any neighborhood sidewalk I want at anytime? I really dont know but I feel that there has to be a time when you have a right to make someone leave

Is it a gated community? Gated communities OWN the roads, and then it's private property.

If it's not gated or not a "private street" then yes it's public property.
