In the '90s I read in USA Today that 25% of all black people in America eat at McDonald's at least once a week.
A few years ago I was eating at a hospital cafeteria. Cliches notwithstanding, the food wasn't bad at all. There was baked chicken and fish. They even had some passable gumbo. Not flavored like a gourmet would insist on (hospitals force you to add your own salt and pepper, for obvious reasons) but certainly edible.
Some black guy was standing near the checkout chatting up the cashier. He finally left, but only after announcing in a loud voice, "I'm goin' to McDonald's and get me sumthin' to EAT!"

I am reading between the lines here that McDonald's is wanting to weed out a bunch of middle management middle-aged fluff and replace them with some cheaper millenials.
