LOL.
So a chunky Campos shows up with a cane appearing to attempt to hold back tears a few times. Ellen pulls up a floor diagram of the 32nd floor and Campos shows where he and his hotel engineer buddy were located and where the barricaded door was with respect to Paddock's room.
Campos also noted that he didn't notify the folks on the radio that he had been shot in an attempt to avoid tying up critical radio airtime for response to the event. WTF? Is that a reasonable thing for someone who has just been shot to do? I mean all you say on the radio is shots fired I've been hit. The I've been hit doesn't take that long. That's a load of BS.
It seemed awfully scripted.
Ellen gave the two guys free NFL tickets presumably since attendance is so bad these days. The Ellen audience collectively gave them a round of applause when the producer told them to.

Because it was, he has probably spent everyday since he went of the radar being coached by hotel attorneys on what to say and not say.

What a joke, if this quote is real.
Wow, wouldnt that have given SWAT critical info on the shooter if he did notify them????????

That's what he said? Srs? Holy hell

quote:Well, that and wouldn't he want authorities to know the exact location of the shooter in real-time? He had a room number to give, for Pete's sake.

oh he notified them of shots fired but claimed he didn't notify them that he himself had been shot in the interest of keeping the radio clear. Just a very strange and not very believable detail to claim. Although more believable in that fewer people would have been aware of his supposed gunshot.
This is all so much conjured up BS.

Oh, so at some point he did get on the radio. Well that's good.

He radioed that shots were fired, but it doesn't seem like he gave specifics. I'm sure he was in shock and wasn't thinking, though.

Did he seem intelligent?
I need to watch the interview but I suppose I can buy that detail although it doesn't seem like something a rational person would do
Getting blasted probably left him slightly incoherent though

*Cue in another timeline change*
You mean, the "event" that started 6-10 minutes afterwards?
This shite is so bizarre.

no, I think Campos was referring to once he noted shots were fired he didn't want to tie up communications any further with an insignificant detail about himself HAVING BEEN SHOT so they can begin properly coordinating a response to his "shots fired" notification.

That's how I interpreted it.

Which Campos though?
Like Jonah Hill, I think I like the fat one more.
