hey, you're welcome. Have to do what it takes to get what you need sometimes. If that means wearing a mask for 10-15 seconds...whatever.

To all of the people saying this isn’t at least semi-permanent.. Please find one example of a mask mandate being reversed once it’s been mandated. Also, the common thing seems to be “until we have a vaccine.” That is something to that could easily be several years or never. The first Governor/Mayor that lifts a mask mandate will run the risk of the “you have blood on your hands” type of criticism .

The GOP in Louisiana is such a clown show.
When Lane Grigsby tells them he's tired of wearing a mask they will do something about it.

You could say the same for any Gov lifting any restrictions, yet they do it

Masks until all infectious diseases have been eradicated from the Earth.

Tony Fauci said something about everyone wearing eye shields or goggles.

How so?
Does it just go away?
Please elaborate.

I hate anything that makes Americans seem weak and scared. That's what masks do. They may work and they may not, but the site of my kids wearing their masks they have to have at school makes me sick.

I still don’t wear masks anywhere. They do absolutely nothing to stop anything. Especially since 90% of the people that wear them have the equivalent of a piece of paper strapped to their head. Have fun with that

If you are 6 feet away you shouldn’t worry
Pretend you are in kindergarten:
Wash your hands
Don’t talk to strangers - stay 6 feet away & don’t speak...no way for spit droplets to fly if you don’t open your mouth

Masks do not work according to the CDC
Disposable medical masks (also known as surgical masks) are loose-fitting devices that were designed to be worn by medical personnel to protect accidental contamination of patient wounds, and to protect the wearer against splashes or sprays of bodily fluids (36). There is limited evidence for their effectiveness in preventing influenza virus transmission either when worn by the infected person for source control or when worn by uninfected persons to reduce exposure. Our systematic review found no significant effect of face masks on transmission of laboratory-confirmed influenza.
