Look, there are enough intelligent people on this forum that are willing to debate in an honest and open-minded way that I can interact with and possibly learn from and even change my viewpoint from time to time.

My wife's grand father received 2 Purple Hearts at Iwo Jima. He would've made the flag raising, but was in the hospital ...

So many hero's from that generation. There were 27 medal of honor and 890 silver stars awarded on Iwo Jima alone.
