North AL is all in on nuclear and is doing what it takes to make sure the plant is viable longterm.

Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant eyes extending operational life to 80, maybe 100 years

The three units at Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant, originally designed to last 40 years, are now licensed to continue operations for 60 years, an extension to 80 years is in the works, and TVA's CEO said an extension to 100 years is feasible.
Some say the age of the Limestone County plants jeopardizes safety, but Tennessee Valley Authority officials say aggressive evaluation and replacement of plant components keeps the plant safe. Unit 1 was initially licensed in 1973 and in 2006 its license was extended to 2033. Unit 2, licensed in 1974, has an extended license that will expire in 2034. Initially licensed in 1976, Unit 3's extended license expires in 2036.

Tim Rausch, TVA's executive vice president and chief nuclear officer, said the authority plans to extend the life of the Browns Ferry units to 80 years, which means license renewals that expire in 2053-2056.

NE is heavy hydro from Niagara Falls right? Produces a shite ton of power.
TVA in TN has done a nice job.
I think Washington and Oregon are big from Columbia River projects. It’s a beast of a River.

Chart must have been made by the US Postal Service regional facility in Memphis, because those idiots recently sent my eBay purchase to Detroit instead of my house in MS.
PS: There certainly are idiots at work at the USPS.

Check out Delaware. Biden’s home state. Almost 100% fossil fuels.
