Lunatic and two of his friends broke into a house 4 days ago (Winn Parish) and the homeowner held two of them at gun point for law enforcement. Third suspect got away. This morning, he broke into a friend of mine's house (while they were at church) and stole his .270 & 12 gauge (both loaded) and his Kubota tractor. He ditched the tractor behind Calvin High School this afternoon and now the bloodhounds, helicopters, and law enforcement are in our area looking for him. I'm locked and loaded!

Best I can tell - yes. Not exactly a mental giant, but I'll give him credit. He stole a really nice tractor

That part is sort of great. I just can't believe someone in Winn parish held burglars at gunpoint and waited on the cops instead of just shooting them. I bet the redneck without his guns and tractor agrees.

I can promise you that if he had been home, there would be no manhunt right now

That's a bad feeling. Had a similar thing happen a few years back, dude down the road killed his wife and ditched his truck down a road on the other side of the marsh in front of our property. He was raised out there and was supposed to have a big bag of meth and guns. Cops came on 4 wheelers searched our land, barn and out buildings. Slept with Beretta 12 ga and one eye open for about a week. Never caught the guy.

It is cnsiderably harder to shoot someone who isn't trying to hurt you than you might think.

Why does anyone have a loaded .270 in the middle of spring (or anytime they aren't hunting for that matter). You could maybe convince me that someone kept the 12 gauge loaded for self defense (maybe). But to keep a .270 loaded is almost comically irresponsible.

Still hope the idiot is caught. Can't stand the thought of someone breaking into my home. Especially cant stand the thought of stolen guns.

if he ditched the tractor, they will never find him. Probably long gone. Either headed for the Mexico border or hid out somewhere in Bunkie.
