I wouldn't be for any animal getting a fricking face tattoo. That's a tedious, long, painful process that is 100% unnecessary.
I also am against chemo for dogs with cancer usually, because you can't explain to them why you're doing that to them. To them, they're being tortured for no reason.

My dog throws a fit when I trim her dewclaws. I couldn't imagine trying to tattoo her.

I got my 1 year old daughter some face tattoos. Cheaper to do a small face. I figure I'm saving her money in the long run.
