Damn. I've heard a lot of great things about this guy at Disney. That's pretty sad.

This strains the meaning of accident. Did he mean to kill himself. I guess not so that's an accident. But I don't think it was an accident that he lit the shell on his head. Not sure why else you would put a mortar shell on your head and strike a lighter.

I don't buy that the mortar tube was on his head and it killed him since the powerful mortar shells use the thick PVC tubes. Maybe it was only the mortar shell he had on his head without the tube?

Did he swallow the mortar round? Jump on it like a soldier saving his fox hole? I know they are big fireworks, but I can't imagine it ripping a person up like that simply on their head.
