Maybe the woman feels horrible about her mistake and insisted he go without her? For all we know...Italy could have been his dream place that he always wanted to visit and she didn't want to take that away from him.

Maybe she told him to take the picture and post it....cause she knew it would garner attention(which it did). She likely thought people would feel sorry and be inclined to help them out in some way.

Nurse, would you let your hubby go by himself on a two week honeymoon?

Every married man other than this guy knows women never say what they mean and you especially can't do shite like this. It doesn't matter how much she asks, this will get thrown in his face every single argument the rest of this life.

For example:
Remember when you went to Italy without me?

Can I just have this one thing? Remember when I let you go to Italy?

Oh sure. Just go to Italy again without me a-hole.

You pretend that facts have anything to do with a woman's arguments when she's mad at you.

Definitely. And she has already justified it in her mind that he's somewhere without her so she can be on someone that's not him.

Yep, in her mind he is cheating on her by going. So it is only fair to nail every dude in the village

Nope...but I also know how to properly plan trips to another country. I didn't change my last name to my new married name until AFTER my honeymoon...even though we got married in October and took our honeymoon the following March. Did that because I already had a current passport and didn't want any chance of delays happening with getting a new one in my married name. Being a huge worrier at times can have perks in that you become very good at trip planning.

That won't change the fact that even if they're married for 50 years every time they get into an argument she will bring up that time he went on their honeymoon without her.

I never defended her...I called her an idiot for losing her passport

I still think she told him to go and to post pictures like that in hopes it would get attention and that people would feel sorry for them and pay for another honeymoon for them.
