Fine, give them one strike. If they do it again, the noose, firing squad, or electric chair awaits.

Just glad to see you aren’t advocating for a 1 strike execution policy. That’s a road I don’t want to go down, especially when it’s in the hands of the state that we all love and trust so much
I have a very rigid view of certain activities.

For example, violent criminal acts should have mandatory minimums of at least 5 years with no way to obtain less than that, and that is for the least violent acts.

Crimes committed with firearms should result in life without parole.

There is a reason I should never be dictator.

Our current system of “release to repeat”, especially in the case of violent crime, is serving no purpose.

That's because we shouldn't have privatized for profit prison systems that dont do shite for rehabilitation.

I actually think a greater emphasis on punishing violent crime is a fine idea, so we’re on the same page there

would you also say the same for Maxwell, a convicted sex trafficker?

As opposed to putting her in a minimum security prison?

Life without parole should not exist. If you’ve done a crime so heinous that it requires your permanent removal from society, there is no purpose to keeping you around to be a drain on tax dollars.

Let’s be honest with ourselves for a moment. Animals like the dude with a knife, they’re never going to be “reformed” or become productive members of society. They’re nothing but animalistic predators. They must be removed from society, otherwise they will continue to prey upon those around them.

But should we warehouse them for the rest of their natural lives? Carry the cost of housing, food, medical, etc while they sit in prison waiting to die. That’s absurd and an unnecessary burden upon society. The best thing to do is to put predators like him down and be done with them. Is it brutal? Yes. But,, if we’re being honest, we all know it’s the best option for society.

It's a moral grey area so it would need an incentive. If we just combine the movie No Escape with PPV we could be debt free in a decade. Running man is fun in theory but morally out of societies range.

Anyone involved in sex trafficking minors should swing.

ETA: and by that I don’t mean they live in prison for decades with appeal after appeal. No, within 30 days of conviction, they’re lead up the steps of gallows where a noose is ready to be slipped around their neck.

ETA: and those thirty days should be spent in a 6’ x 4’ cell with a bunk, toilet, and sink with a view to the yard where the gallows are erected. They get one hour of exercise daily on that same yard. I they should be reminded every minute of every one of those 30 days that their end is imminent. No books, no TVs, nothing but the cell their in and the gallows they see through the bars of the window in their cell.
