a. Not complying with what a cop is asking you to do is resisting arrest. if they ask you for an ID and you refuse to provide it, i see that as resisting arrest.
b. this is double standard bullshite if they really did nearly clip him and they got pissed off for him calling them out. I have had cops literally clip me with their mirror and give me shite when it broke while I was working alongside a road. However, now if you don't get over a clear lane while they have someone pulled over they can come get you for it. I usually stand up for cops but this guy yelling at them had no immediate threat to them so they should have left him alone. If the guy threw something at them it would be a different story.
Interfering with the mail (or assaulting a letter carrier) is a federal crime. It would be funny as hell if those asshats got fines and tossed into prison for it. And a Postal Inspector (Federal Agent) can and will arrest them for doing that. If you think a cop has an inflated self worth, you should meet a Postal Inspector.
