Does anyone know someone who does something to prepare for the cold (or anything else) that makes absolutely no sense?
My mom called me earlier to tell me to make sure to park my van close to the house (I don't pull it all the way up because I need space to get out of the side with the lift).
I just say "okay" and tell her I did just because it makes her feel better, but pulling up my van two more feet to be closer to the house will not protect a vehicle from the cold at all. I don't know if its old people logic but the shite makes no sene.

It's to keep your vehicle out of the wind as much as possible

It will be exposed to the same weather conditions as it would be if I moved it up 2 ft... Well its about 4 ft.. But either way, her reasoning is that heat from the house will better protect it.
