re: LUNCH THREAD- the cold edition

Homemade turkey, andouille and oyster gumbo.

Every year I take the leftover Christmas turkey meat and freeze it, make a stock from the bones and stuff and freeze that, then when it gets freezin'-arse cold in January I make a big pot of this gumbo (from scratch, including the roux) and bring to the office to share with the co-workers for lunch.

Milk sandwiches might be in your future. Nothing like a grilled milk & cheese.

It was too cold this am to sit outside with my coffee. The cat stayed out longer than me, but she was wearing a fur coat.

There are still no food delivery services operating in my area. It's a tragedy.

Therefore lunch will be a Zatarain's bourbon chicken pasta microwavable meal.
