my sister if flying to Mayberry to spend Thanksgiving with my family this year so I am putting all of my Christmas stuff up before she gets here so she can have a TN Christmas.
I will be so over seeing all that stuff and trying to clean my house around it- it's def getting put away day after Christmas this year. Some years I get a case of the lazy's and wait until NYD but not often.

There are levels of drama with the low end warranting distance as a warning and the high end being immediate cut off with no regret.

I think a small 3” tree is kind of perfect if that situation. I love sitting with a glass of wine with nothing but the Christmas tree lights on.

I like this. I might need a shirt that says, “My kindness is a choice” as a warning to strangers. People who know me don’t need that warning.

In all seriousness, the winter holidays are very hard for me. life just seems to suck more during the holidays.
I miss my mom more and have to be very intentional to force myself to be happy for my kiddos. and it's all exhausting really.
