Yea. Mine doesn’t want to be at patient level.
Because we’re in Memphis, we are always doing something at St Jude. She met a research scientist there and became fascinated.

Advisors usually have you take them all separate. 2083 is generally took on a light semester schedule

Lol.
Tiga, not sure but she takes o chem 2 next semester.

He’s majoring in Bio Chem and has his sights on med school. We shall see
He’s figuring things out. Hopefully the frat he joined and they are moving into a new condo in August will be a bonus. He’s doing good so far

We probably shouldn’t talk too much more about daughters with Super Saint on the loose.

I can talk about LCA’s daughters all night.
What do you wanna know?

Mine started as BioChem but switched to straight Bio. Not sure why. I guess in the end it doesn’t matter as long as you have the degree, MCAT score and gpa for med school. Doesn’t matter she is wayyyy smarter than I ever was or will be.
Toof she will take O Chem 2 in the fall. The problem she is having is she just has science classes and labs left. I have mentioned to throw a fluff class in just to give her a break from the hard stuff. But what do I know?

Biochem 2083 was the killer class at lsu when I was there. No one really sweated the chemistry stuff that much. Half the students change majors at that class

That class GOT me. Changed from Chem/Biochem to Chem/Analytical after that class.

Her advisor should be punched. Backloading all that stuff for the end is never a good idea. Also, some classes require other classes to be already taken so hopefully that's all lined up so she isn't delayed
Should be a mixture of the core classes and fluff throughout the 4 years or so
Posted on 12/13/22 at 7:04 pm to Deactived
She gRaduated high school with her core classes done.
Posted on 12/13/22 at 7:05 pm to tigafan4life
I mean the core classes for the major. Ex. Biochem, micro, organic, exp stat.

Mine had a killer background in High School. When she got to Or. Ch., she had an Indian (dot) prof, who had minimal English skills. Her and a few others grouped up and taught themselves.
She graduated as Magna, but didn't quite reach Summa. I was still damned proud of her.
I am also proud of all of y'all's kids, for kicking arse in their respective STEM fields.

Oh well idk bout all that. She talks to her advisor just a little. She doesn’t like him. Her freshman year the idiot put her in a class that she already took in high school for credit at lsu. She has friends that are upper class men in the same Major that she talks to about scheduling.
I heard the physics department at lsu is shite too. We mentioned maybe taking it in the summer would be better with smaller classes.

Other students are usually the best advisors.
Plenty took physics in the summer because it was 'easier'. I dunno if I believed them though. What sucks is they offered only 1 section when I was there and it was at 7:30am. Ugh
