As a foolish young man, (circa early 80's) i once hitchhiked from Shreveport to El Paso following my best friends older sister who had moved there 3 months previously. To this day i'm still not sure who was more surprised when she answered the door upon my arrival. Her, me, or the 7 members of the local MC that were in her living room breaking down a few pounds of weed for the retail market.
You never know until you know.

PS. walking on west texas interstates during the summer is about as close as you can get to walking on the moon.
