Since I have no platinum, I go back to my favorite metal.

Thallium.

At first I was like, "how the hell does anyone even know that exists."

But then I looked it up.

Every girl should have a favorite poison.

The Russians use it on spies now so it’s probably a whole lot harder to use.

You would probably have to get Putin to send you some covertly. I don't think regular civilians are allowed to possess it in the US.

But then again, you're not a regular civilian.

But there’s two bottles of Prosecco for me at work that I’ll be enjoying tonight after I get home

Are you gonna drink both bottles? That's pretty hardcore.

Not saying I haven't done it

I believe it will be. I'm an optimist.

Normally I am with you but as the old cat, this seems to much like a repeat of a century ago.

Putin is a repeat of Stalin (Hodomor in Ukraine) and Hitler (Sudetenland)
Merica is isolationist
Hoover tariffs are in vogue again
Asia is feeling like Japan all over
Folks are worried about a Recession, but it sure feels like the "D" word
Shanties (tent cities today) more common
College sports are running off the rails

I hope I am wrong but the last 5 to 10 years keep repeating and nobody is talking about the train wreck coming. It is like we are barking at the fly in the room while the bear approaches unnoticed and no alarm taken.
