I can very honestly say as much as I hate the movie it is the only instance where the movie was better than the book. It was terrible. I had to force myself to finish reading it.

The book was awesome, real Shakespearan tragedy about life choices and snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Try getting an original copy tho. With the success of the movie they rereleased the book as the movie version.

No, didn’t watch, it was fine but it didn’t like him in it, didn’t watch bc Tom hanks, no, not much of a romantic comedy girl so didn’t watch.
If an actor annoys me I will generally stay away from their stuff, but every now and then I can deal with it.

Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts can not act, they can only play to a specific type.
Hanks did a dark movie and it flopped even with a good script and cast
Roberts did a dark period piece with same result and failed as well
Daniel Day Lewis can act
Edward Norton can act
Meryl Streep can act
O'Brother (with Clooney) was excellent
Ladykillers (with Hanks) was too painful to watch
