If I didn’t have to chop up a shite ton of produce for Family Cooking Fun tmw- I’d elaborate.
Remind me though- and I’m happy to share. I just don’t have time to go into it now.
I do relate to this a lot though. I have the most warped sense of humor and will find something to laugh about in the midst of unspeakable trauma - just so I can keep focused and do what I need to do in that moment and not get clouded by emotion when there isn’t time for that in the moment. Do you know what I mean?
Most people (lay people) have no idea.
I was also the County Coroner for several years too… so sprinkle that in the mix of 21 years ER, almost 10 Flight nursing and you can imagine how all of that has shaped my neuro pathways.
Remind me though- and I’m happy to share. I just don’t have time to go into it now.

I went to my work Christmas party at surge today for bowling

I will remind you if I can remember my memory is fricked.
I'm the same way! People think I'm crazy but it's just a coping mechanism I guess. I tend to turn fricked up moments in to jokes and ask you could imagine, that doesn't come across the best.
