really? Wow. Both of my grandmas worked later, after the kids were in high school

Well, my Texas grandma went to work earlier bc my grandpa died when my dad was 11, my dad was #6 of 9 kids

Neither of my gmaws had house help. One really didn’t need it or maybe she did

1 grandma went to work when I was in middle school age or so because she was bored with no more farm to run. So she did seasonal work at Goudchaux/Maison Blanche and cooked at the school down the street.

My dad was 7 of 9 and his dad died when he was in college but my grandma maintained the museum (her kids called her house this) until I had kids and she was in her 80s. She never worked.

My mom and her sisters worked but did not have help because we all grew up on the same acreage so all the kids had to help everyone. We did chores at everyone's house (kinda like your kids doing your sis' yard work yesterday).

where can I get one of these for dptb? I am tired.

Dandy Don's recipe for pork chops is in the oven for lunch. And frittata for breakfast for the next few days. Crock pot tuscan chicken pasta this afternoon also. Back to batch cooking

This is why I need a mail order bride. DPTB can sleep with her if she cleans and cooks

I missed it earlier but this is definitely where I parked my car.
