You don't have a glass eye? I knew this chick that had one with a Saints Fleur-de-lis in the iris. It wasn't obvious. But once you saw it, you couldn't help but stare.

What’s left of the real eye (it was blown in half and mangled) is still there. It’s incredible they were able to save it honestly.
But what’s left doesn’t function right and light is extremely painful (since it doesn’t regulate and function correctly anymore)
The patch saves me from having one eye closed all day and getting debilitating migraines.
They implanted a cadaver lens since the original was destroyed.
The story is one best told over strong drink.

It’s happened organically. It’s probably half the patch and the other half just the way I act.
