I've done some research on BMW motorcycles and from what I've heard their quality isn't that great and to make matters worse they tend to have parts availability issues. Plus they're even more overpriced than Harley.
The more I think about it, the more I'm leaning toward Yamaha. Their quality and reliability are both the best on the market. Factor in they're also very reasonable priced wise and it's a no brainer.

I really like the Indian Scout 60. I spent an entire day riding one a few weeks back and must admit it was really fun to ride. It's smooth, very responsive and actually pretty damn powerful.
My main concern though is it's reliability ratings are in line with Harley and BMW. Plus I've seen the Indian name come and go twice now in the past 20 years. Who's to say Polaris won't drop them in another 5 years?
