Nah, getting my BSN finally. I've been a registered nurse without a bachelor's degree for 15 years now(yes it's possible and very common). Work is mandating we all have a BSN by 2020 or bye bye job. I'm getting 11k in tuition reimbursement so not too horrible.

oh nice, that's ample time to get it done. I don't even think doctor's need a Bachelor's still right?

my gf is an RN at Georgetown and they only reimburse 6500/year for tuition. She's in grad school to become a CNS, seems to like it

My work gives me 5500/year....program is 14 months...so that means I qualify for two years worth...11k.

I'm going to school online at GCU(Grand Canyon). They do direct billing with my work and give me a 20% discount off tuition so I don't have to deal with all the hassle of getting reimbursed. Just doing student loans for whatever isn't covered by work.

It's back. The place had no actual roof except for the front bar so basically the hurricane washed out a bunch of furniture and wood-built structures inside.

My friend Oscar was head bartender there for years.

Fin - You golf, right? I have another friend that was head of F&B at the original country club down there and had a clothing shop prior to the storm.

Need you to name drop if you get the chance...

ETA:

nm. Found her. Looks like she's settled in again with Mayan Resorts down there.

...from TX that she introduced to Sean. If that didn't click - The ones that hung out with her and her ex at Baja Bob's back in the day day.

She used to house sit Sammy Hagaar's bro's house.

ETA:

Sean was a former Americas Cup sailing team member that made his living delivering sailboats up and down the West Coast.

Now I really miss my annual Cabo trips.

ETA:

yeah... If your wife was an extraordinarily understanding person, maybe.

My various companions and I were adopted by several groups of sales guys on their "reward vacations" over the years. They had very understanding wives.

Somebody in this thread is either a Cabo hater or jealous.

So now I'm going to mention the 86lb yellowfin and the 314lb striped I caught with the Margherita Fleet before they closed shop.

Meh, it's not for much money really. Ideally I would have rathered go back to school later but my turn on the wait list at work for tuition reimbursement popped up last September so I had to either go back now or lose out on 11k free money for school.
