Ended well though. I like the historical fiction aspect of it like Deadwood. You could wikipedia most of those characters and see how the plot played out close to real life. I'm a dork though.

I thought Deadwood was great... but it didn't last long. Same w/ Rome.

Exactly. That was intense shite. You could feel them characters like it could have been your own family a few generations ago.
I don't know hollywood speak but it felt very genuine and gritty. Like the pace was slow like life was back then but NEVER felt boring.
Except for Calamity Jane. Overacting was terrible on her part.

I like the cast and the fact that it will be a completely different story. Not to mention, different location.

Now we pitch Lange against CSF just to stay alive... and if we win we'll have to find somebody to pitch against the loser of TCU/Vandy.

Would have been nicer to pitch Lange to Vandy... and easier to deal w/ CSF/TCU loser.

Word. Bottomline to the non-reg season fans is we did NOT wanna face Vandy twice as they are the most complete/balanced team to take two from us in a series(or coming from loser bracket).

Our bullpen against CSF's turrible batting average would have been ideal to get out of Loser Bracket.
