In defense of the good Dr, he's actually providing a public service, by clarifying dosages per FDA-approved on-label usage.

I have a friend who is 65+ and uses Cialis occasionally. He halves a 20mg pill and usually takes it on an empty stomach, even though he doesn't see much difference when taking it on a full stomach. Usually begins working in an hour or so and has residual effects throughout the next day. Not much effects on the second day, but that may be an indication of age.
Side effects are sight headache and a slightly stiff neck when he wakes up in the morning. I know, I know...stiff neck. But it's true.
He is very interested in the stuff being discussed an how it works. 20mg Cialis is over $100 for 3 pills (6 doses).....according to him.

I can't imagine 480 will incur any legal liability just because a bunch of us idiots decided to take his online advice (shite works, btw).
Don't know about an actual physician. Even if there's no legal liability, I don't know how the AMA views this kind of thing. Can't imagine anyone would go out of their way to hold him to task for giving earnest dosing advice, however.
