lol. well after all the money thats already been spent on cancer research, without finding a cure, i diont think an extra 40 mil is gonna make the difference

Well, if the argument is efficacy on a dollar for dollar basis, sending 20 million to help advance the LSU Department of Mechanical Engineering is probably a better use of funds than throwing it into something under the umbrella of "cancer research".

The argument about the "greater good" is tougher to defend regarding sending that amount to the TAF so I'll fall back on the "it's his money" tactic for that flank of the debate.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say his issue is with taf. Personally whenever I donate I never donate to collegiate athletics.
