Finally. I hope this continues to progress, and hope it will decrease the price of generic Marinol.
We have had two cancer patients on dronabinol at our pharmacy in the past 5 years. It cost their insurance over $1200 a month.
Most patients prescribed dronabinol have failed more traditional treatment, but can't get the insurance approval. The price and reluctance is outrageous.

I'm sure it will also be absurdly expensive for independent pharmacists to venture into this.

i agree with that. but it WILL help some of the people who are suffering from the medical condition that will be allowed to use MJ. The people with legit conditions have suffered enough with being denied medical MJ and having to go thru extra hoops to get the meds they need.
This is especially good news for children with seizures.

It's progress but it still needs to expand to allow patients to grow their own and not have the lowest THC possible as a criteria. We should be allowed to import from another state from a qualified dispensary.

It's my go to place. I like it because all their concentrates are lab tested for potency.
It's wild. You have legitimate people in need of medicine, and people like me who are just there to get dope to get high. It is nice to be able to walk in, look through a catalog, and just pick what you want.
The 'bud tenders' are pretty knowledgeable about the staggering amount of flower, concentrates, edibles, etc., and you are a 'patient' like in a real pharmacy.
Louisiana is going about it totally different. Bass ackwards, as usual.
Small world story: I had just gotten my dispensary card, and Airfield was the first place I went. My first bud tender remarked on my accent, and come to find out we were both from Baton Rouge originally. Was a cool way to start things off.

As far as I know, everything is lab tested in all legal states so it's nothing different going on there.
That place screams high overhead.

maybe so... dunno... but in the long run, i have no doubt it would be well worth the investment, especially being one of the first to open....
it's something i've always wanted to do, and all of my partners are on board... just gotta research it and submit a business plan... but that's the pain in the arse part...
