I dont really understand why they are fishing at all. I know they need income but I hear stories of running 800 traps for a sack. If you catch every crawfish that is in the pond now that is still alive how the hell will they have any young crawfish at all? All the seedstock is being pulled out so they really wont have any later in year?

Most of all the babies have been hatched it’s just a matter of waiting for them to grow enough to catch.
