Almost as if it just needs to move through populations.

Crazy concept, I know.

There are almost as many hospitalizations in the Monroe region (101) as the BR and NOLA Regions combine (118).

To take it a step further, the Monroe and Shreveport Regions account for 48% of the Hospitalizations in the State.

Orleans parish has some of the lowest numbers in the state despite having multiple places every night that look like the picture below that was taken last Saturday night.

Either there are tons of "infected" people that aren't getting tested and don't need to be hospitalized, or it simply isn't moving through the population down there like it has in the past.

This is why Trump did the right thing by not having nationwide restrictions, and even statewide restrictions don't make sense. At lease the bars opening is on a parish by parish basis. I bet JBE didn't think so many parishes would get under 5% so quickly though. Remember, only 1 parish qualified originally.

will sign an order that allows high school sports to move to 50% capacity for fans (up from 25%) in parishes with lower percents of positive COVID tests.
Will be effective tomorrow, Friday, October 23.

Is it only for high school sports? I would assume he doesn't want LSU at 50% because of influx of people from different parishes and out of state.
