Typical, got to be tough in crime backlash from a last years legislation.. we don’t have the money or resources in place to carry the additional workload and this will only further diminish the public defenders office which is a right given to us..

I don't want my tax dollars going to defend criminals. If they want a lawyer they can get a job like the rest of us

Yea. Much different type of people here than in Massachusetts though. They’re breaking the law and getting locked up but I’m not sure we can afford to have the resources to handle that many offenders.
