Been playing for two years, down around 150, and I have won 100 once and 45 twice.

Had a guy checking out next to me tell me that...as he proceeded to buy his carton of Marlboro menthols. I just let it go, I doubt he would have understood the irony of the situation.

I don't go out of my way to play, but I probably spend a good $15-20 a month on it (not scratch offs). I blow more than 10x that weekly on irrelevant things so I don't see the big deal.

I just don't understand people's logic when that say they don't play unless it reaches X amount. You meant to tell me that $250m+ is worth your time and dollar or 2 and $40m isn't? Would you really be upset if you won $40m off of $2? Even if that $40m pot was split 10 ways...would you really be upset if you won $4m off of $2? I just don't get it. I'd be absolutely thrilled if I won the LA lotto off of $1
and that's routinely under 1m.

I don't know what to tell you man. $250 million is my minimum to play. My time is valuable so I'm going to need a return that makes it worth my trouble to play.

was meant tongue in cheek, no harm in taking a chance every now and then, assuming you plan to tithe the appropriate amount of the winnings!

Most logical people know they wont win so they are basically buying a chance to dream about what they would do with the money. 40mil doesn't excite someone as much as 250mil. I'm more likely to go out my way to buy a ticket to dream about what I would do with 250 over 40. Besides, I've already got half of the 40 so only a few more to reach OT baller status.
