I know the pain. My dad had to call me last Christmas Eve around 1130 to come and pick up our 11 year old yellow bc he just couldn't see him like that. Talk about a tough deal having to pick him up and put him in my truck to get him cremated. Just him sitting in my front seat like he had done a 1000 times before but I knew it would be the last time I would see him. Losing a hunting dog is a tough deal bc we are their life and they have unconditional loyalty.
