Unless you are rolling in a Model S or X Plaid I don’t see Teslas as a wealth or status flex.
The technology is what I am interested in. The Bolt doesn’t have that

Most likely irrelevant as I would be shocked if the company is still around until next year. They are nearly out of cash and unless someone comes in and bails them out, these trucks will never be produced in mass quantity. I have friends that work there and it is a complete cluster. Their deal with Foxconn was supposed to be that lifeline but Foxconn is trying to get out of the agreement due to RIDE falling under $1/share. They just announced a reverse split to try and salvage it and also are suing Foxconn to force them to fulfill the deal, but most experts I've read think it is a hail mary that won't succeed. It is a shame for the workers as a lot of them are former GM workers who took jobs with Lordstown when GM closed down the plant. Some locals are hoping GM will swoop in and but Lordstown Motors but that is also a pipe dream. GM already had a stake in the company and got rid of it. I don't see what they get out of the deal.

That’s why people buy teslas, to Ian’s and such. No one wants the Volt or leaf.
Do you also think the only difference between a Corolla and a Ferrari is status symbol, and they're otherwise the same exact car?

EVs might be the future, but they are pushing this technology out too early.

Even if you were to take politics out of it, they are definitely the future. Even in its bleeding edge infancy, I wouldn't say they are pushing it too early as its a great vehicle choice for a select market and there are still plenty of ICE options.
I don't happen to be in that market, but I see the attraction for those that are.

I seen an article saying that sitting in an electrical vehicle is equivalent to walking around with a microwave running on your shoulders.

EMF RADIATION TESTS RESULTS, I cannot find the article, but seen this info. On instagram

If true, congrats on the Cancer
Using a laptop exposes you to more radiation than sitting in a Tesla. Cell phone in your pocket nukes your nads worse than a Tesla. Holding it to your frickin' head is way worse than sitting in a Tesla. A lot of ICE vehicles emit levels about on par with a Tesla.
You are more likely to develop skin cancer from the sunlight shining through your Tesla's windows than to develop cancer related to EMF radiation from the car.
