If they would require developers to do erosion control immediately upon digging plus do erosion control around new houses around them it would do wonders.
I laugh anytime I see one dug and they are building houses around it. It is all washed in and shitty looking. Dirt from sides washing in and dirt from new houses washing in. Not to mention the damn things are now impossible to mow around.
It is just simple free stuff that blows my mind in regards to our drainage.

State did next to nothing in the impacted parishes after 2016.
