Looking to get my pool re-plastered in NOLA. Anyone have any recent experience?

Perhaps a referral? The internet is a rabbit hole of information on the subject. I don't need to add a water feature or imported Italian tiles. Just a basic re-plaster and some tile work. I figure who better to ask than the OT ballas, right?

find the contractor yourself and save yourself half the cost. From what i understand it is the same crew out of houston that does most of the work in Louisiana

Martinez Pool Plastering did mine a few years ago
ETA: he is the contractor..does all the work himself and you can order tiles and coping through him as well.

Agreed.
I can't remember their names at the moment.

How's it holding up? Did you have to have tile work? How much did it run?

It's holding up just fine.
I had all new tile, all new coping and re-plaster. Cost me right at $10k

i used southshore pools. if it is just replastering, i think they did it for under 10k and i have a pretty big pool.
Guy who runs it name is Ken. he can at least give you a quote. really easy to work with and honest.

Caribbean Pool and Patio in Hammond. (985) 345-6365. Friend from college that does some pretty work. You can check out their page on facebook.

no i dont have his info. When my dad was going through with it, he said it felt like it was one of those deals that was too good to be true, but everything worked out.

Just the tile and coping alone cost that.
Just a replaster, no tile and no coping, you could probably get done for $5800
