oh no doubt, I relate very well with disenfranchised youth. It was my calling back in another life I'm convinced.... I'm trying to get through to a kid I met that I started shooting hoops with, try and get him to apply for grants and college. He miraculously just graduated from Cohan high. He works at Subway by the old St Thomas. Great kid, completely broken family. I've taken him to his first pels game ever last season.... he graduated HS with no one ever even mentioning anything about college to him, and he honestly has ZERO knowledge of what college even is.
Just what he has seen on TV and huge basketball and football games.
