I'm just worn out and on a lot of meds. Yesterday was terrible. Was taking norco 7.5 and it couldn't handle the stone moving. I had to go to the er and get a ct scan to make sure what I was dealing with. I've got two right now but 1 has been in my kidney for four years. It hasn't moved since my last er visit. The other is a 4 mm stone in my ureter still. Its been in there 8 days ughhhh.

I hate taking them but I'm doing full dosages of flomax.

Gonna hold off on the meds tomorrow and drive back to TX for school. Hopefully it stays still or passes tonight. This is the longest its taken to pass one.

Of all the meds I'm taking, toradol is probably the most efficient

Thanks man

Its really just a waiting game and mitigate pain as it comes. My urologist tells me to drink beer in these situations so I'm down with that lol

Toradol is a great drug. Not a narcotic but we give it all the time up here and many get great relief from it.

I have a friend that used to get them. He swears by drinking a room temp 2 liter of Coke Classic as fast as possible without hurting oneself the moment he gets that "I've got a stone" feeling.

It is. Had the nicest doctor ever yesterday and he said that's one of the best things to give for stones. I think he said for kidney stones its a combo of anti inflammatory and pain reliever in one thing. I hate the percoset hydrocodone crap they give.

They gave me dilaudid(sp?) last time and holy crap that's some strong stuff. I was a space cadet within minutes

People will do crazy things when they get them but drinking soft drinks isn't a cure lol. Well, once you have them I guess it doesn't really matter. Just gotta get liquids passed through you to pee.

The only liquid to drink is water and maybe a light beer or ten.

I think he thinks the acidity breaks 'em down. It's not like he's a soda fiend. Only time he ever drinks anything carbonated. Told him to stop drinking so much tea.

How many have you had? Those don't sound fun, but I know a few people who get them frequently and pass them relatively easy now

15.

Yurin, acidity drinks are good. Lemonades and citrus drinks are great for people with stones
