I've got a busy night tonight. But I'm on cloud 9. I got a promotion today with my company, and am gonna move to Mobile. It's a great opportunity, and I'll be back living around family. Plus with it an hour drive to Nola, and an hour to the beach, the location works great.

Thanks. I'm thrilled. It'll also cool to finally have a supervisor position. Guys are usually about 15-20 years older than me before they land a gig like this. Though I did get into it at a young age.

Play your cards right, and I might consider spoiling you a little. Unless I end up spending it all on celebratory hookers and blow.
I know I won't be a stranger to Nola. I still have a lot of musician friends down there to play with. And there's a few festivals there that I won't miss. And I've also missed drumming with Mardi Gras Indians. St Joseph's Night and Jazz Fest are always fun events to play.
After 5 months of nights, this move can't happen soon enough. I'm looking forward to posting on the LNST only when I'm having insomnia.

Thanks. It's just the morale boost I needed. These nightshifts have been wearing on me mentally. I was never looking towards Mobile, but it makes a lot of sense for me. They pay and getting to be the Senior before I am a senior, is the cherry on top.
