That's where we are headed.

It also hurts that many skills and professions are looked down upon nowadays. Learning a trade is looked at as being low class. Electricians, plumbers, welders, etc.

No one grows up saying yea I want to be an electrician or a welder. People qualified for these jobs are few and far between but we need them as much as ever. I know a few people with these jobs and they all make good money and can work 24/7 if they wanted to.

shite we had a thread not long ago about the demand for welders. Master welders are basically naming their price in parts of the country.

But hey let's encourage( force) everyone to go to college to get that piece of paper lol.

There is so much demand for plummers and AC guys it is scary. With all the new construction out here demand will only go up. Definitely not bad fields to go into.
