You sir are a true gentleman. That's what it's all about. I bet you are like me and never let your wife see you poop or fart or visa versa.

On a side note that Allison Victoria from Kitchen Crashers is a piece of arse

I fart near her pretty often but not when it smells like a bowl of eggs fricking a decaying deer's a-hole.

no idea who she is but I'd hold in my farts for her

i have over 400 Grateful Dead and 200 or so Wide Spread bootlegs on cassette that I will never get rid of. i doubt i'll ever play them again, but i can't get rid of them either.

i spent a shite load of nights sleeping for 45 minutes at a time so I could get up and flip sides making copies of cassettes.

now there is phone app called Re-listen I can stream every GD show played for free.

She goes into home improvement stores and offers to remodel people's kitchen for free. I've told the woman if that broad ever comes up to me in Lowes she better just follow my lead and go buy a strap on.

I understand. Radio Margaritaville & E-street radio took away all my need to keep mix tapes.

I remeber finally buying an Akai tape deck from New Generation that would automatically flip sides while recording.
Life was good for a while.

New Generation was the best store ever. Cassette tapes and Ocean Pacific shirts.

I had a Nakamichi that would do that. But I ran 4 decks at time.

Plus since so many of my source tapes were 1st generation recordings from DAT, I had to add filler to most of the tapes.

Eventually I always used The Allman Bros Live From The Filmore as filler. It became my trademark.

Mainly just why?

I've honestly always wondered why people loved the Dead that much. They're not really my thing, but the following is just massive and everyone has bootlegs of everything it seems like.

Fair enough. I've had friends, fraternity brothers, and even the girl that cuts my hair tell me basically the same thing. The closest I've gotten to an explanation is that it's like being part of a family.

i'd make copies of tapes, trade with a few people to keep fresh tapes coming in (even if you had a copy of a show, a different copy from a different taper may be more preferred)

then i'd give out copies to anyone that wanted them. i only asked for blank cassettes in exchange. it was good Karma.

before that, I collected mix tapes from the King-Fish, Aliens, Southside, etc, etc....
