It was a tasty, succulent sandwich on Costco croissant, soaked in the gravy. Steak cooked down tender, it was delicious.

I had washed my hands directly before making it, and there's one of those pump action soap bottles. But one of those creamy, butter brown colored holiday soaps.

I used it, and I guess as I passed back under after washing my hands and turned back under it, a little bit dripped on where the finger meets the hand and I didn't notice.

Made my sandwich. It was great. After finishing...thought I saw a drop of gravy on my knuckle.

Going in expecting one taste, and then getting something that is completely NOT that taste is very jarring.

I was so confused for about a minute, trying to figure it out.
Because I knew what the gravy tasted like seconds before...

And I knew I had wasted my hands.

So, kids, don't lick your fingers, even when the gravy is delicious.

And if you want to know how I went blind,..
